The Sumiti is called as the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. The main aim of the Government of India and the set up sumiti is to provide a better quality education to the eligible students who are unable to pay the fee and continue their education. The eligibility of the student is gauged by conducting a test ti the student. The student must attend for the exam and qualify the test to get a seat in the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. Every year, the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Sumiti conducts an exam for taking the students into the Vidyalaya based the exam that is conducted. Students must get qualified marks based on the category of their caste to join in the Vidyalaya. The exam will be conducted every year. The exam dates are notified to the students with a notification. After the notification students must apply for the exam to provide a center for taking the test. The center will be allotted and mentioned on the admit card of the student.
The generated admit card of all the applied students will be updated on the website of the organization. Students need to appear for the exam and put their complete efforts to qualify in it. About 5 to 7 lakhs of students will attend for the exam every year. The competition will be very high among the students as there are only few seats in the Navodaya Vidyalaya.
Recently, The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Sumiti had announced the notification for the entrance exam into the Vidyalaya. The notification for the academic year 2018-19 was mentioned in the official website of the organization. It was viewed by a large number of students. All the interested students had applied for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Sumiti Test (JNVST). The students had submitted the application through the offline mode by submitting the form at the nearest Vidyalaya, circle office, DEO or BEO office. The online application forms are submitted from the CSC centers. The reports say that the applications that are received from the online are about 27 lakhs. The entrance exam was to be conducted in 3 sessions in the past years. But the entrance exam for this year was conducted in only one session for all the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya centers of Summer, Winter, Extreme winter bounds.
The students applied for the exam were to be given an admit card before the exam. So, the JNVS had updated the admit cards on the official website of the organization. The students are requested to download their admit cards and attend for the exam. The center for the student was mentioned on the admit card. The exam date was announced as April 21st 2018. The admit cards are available from 1st April 2018 for all the students on the website. All the students had received their admit cards and attended the exam at their respective centers.
The JNVS entrance exam was conducted for the students to take them into the different standards from 5th class to 10th class. A large number of students compete with each other in the exam top get a seat in the Navodaya school. All the exam attended students are now waiting for knowing their performance in the conducted examination. JNVST Navodaya Class 6th & 9th Results are to be announced for the students to check for their status of qualifying in the examination.
All the students attended for the exam are eligible to check the result of the conducted exam. The officials will announce the Navodaya 2018 Results based on the category of their caste General, OBC, SC, ST, PH. The result will be generated based the district level, zone wise and school wise. The result of selected students and waiting list of the students will be uploaded on the website based on district wise. The student must check for their roll number in the pdf downloaded. The result is expected to be released in the first week of June 2018.
